An Establishment Card is a card that specifies your company’s information. This includes the name of your company, the card number, and the expiration date. It is issued by the Immigration Authority of the Emirate where your company is registered.
The card is required for you and your employees to apply for any resident visas. To obtain a visa, applicants must submit a copy of the company’s establishment card with their visa application. You will also need a company establishment card to connect your office to the internet, water, or electricity.
A security clearance is included in your license fee of AED 12,500. However, if you want a security clearance before starting your business, you’ll have to pay AED 525. Depending on your business activities, you may need a security clearance.
Shares do not have to be divided equally. It is possible to decide on the shares by mutual consent.
A virtual office exists primarily in the digital space, while a shared office involves a physical space arrangement.
Shared office space is a physical flex workspace. You can pay to use this space. A Flexi-desk/Shared desk is an excellent option for freelancers and start-ups, giving you a low-cost way to use top-quality office space. You also get a registered address in the UAE, which is essential to starting a business and getting a license.
At Meydan Free Zone, the Flexi desk is available for 4 hrs /month when you buy your license. You can purchase additional hours at AED 375 for 4 hours.
Yes, the Emirates ID of the company’s authorized signatory(s) is a mandatory requirement for the account opening.

Banks charge different security deposits. Zero-balance accounts are available at Meydan Free Zone.
You can trade or service with other companies in the free zone or a company located in any different free zone within UAE and internationally. Businesses in the Free Zones cannot trade directly with Dubai customers. In Dubai and the UAE mainland, however, with a DET Permit for your trade license in Dubai, you can work with mainland companies with a trade license from Meydan Free Zone, other UAE-based free zones and internationally.
Yes, you can operate online and physical trading under your trade license. At Meydan Free Zone, you can run your E-Commerce and General Trading businesses under one license for just AED 12,500.
Yes. If you wish to rent a warehouse outside the Meydan Free Zone for your business, you can apply for a NOC to Lease a Facility outside the Free Zone, which is a letter of no objection.
Yes, you can add multiple genres of activities under your license.
You can have multiple business activities at Meydan Free Zone with a single license. For example, you can operate an e-commerce unit, a marketing agency, or a management consulting firm with a single license. In addition, you can combine up to 3 business activity groups from various sectors in your trade license.
Upon receiving your Emirates ID, you can sponsor your spouse, children, parents, dependents, and domestic staff. AED 6,000 fee is required for a visa.
Yes. You can legally work with mainland companies with a trade license from Meydan Free Zone. Having a DET Permit for your trade license in Dubai allows you to legally conduct business in Meydan Free Zone, other free zones in the UAE, and internationally.
If you wish to open an office on the Mainland or need permission to lease office space outside of the Meydan Free Zone, request a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Meydan Free Zone in 1 working day for AED 2,500 per year.

- Cost for establishment card, visas, status change, security approval (if applicable), and third-party costs based on selection of business activity can be paid as your business grows.
- Once the payment is made the business setup team will contact you within 24 hours to help you register your business activity, application form KYC & UBO process.
- A 15% discount applies to all licenses paid for a multi-year visa.
- Knowledge fee of AED 10 and an innovation fee of AED 10 will be applicable on every new transaction paid.
- All transactions can be converted into a max of 12 months installments with no interest if paid with participative bank’s credit cards.
